PHUKET WEEKEND MARKET
The famous weekend markets are on every Saturday and Sunday nights in Phuket Town. Its best to get there after 5, as it starts to get cooler. They go until around 10pm, so lots of time to shop. There are about 300 stalls, so allow a few hours to wander.
The markets is a place where the locals shop, so prices are very competitive.
There is also a great cooked food area, where there is plenty of local fair to be tasted.
KARON TEMPLE MARKET
Karon Temple Markets are on Tuesdays and Saturdays late afternoon. Not large, but a variety of wares and food. Can be found on Patak Road at the big temple, 300meters from Karon Beach.
KAMALA MARKETS
Kamala Market Friday, opposite Fantasea, late afternoon until around 8pm. Kamalas Wednesday Market is at the South end of the Main Road, starts 4pm.
KATHU PRODUCE MARKET
Kathu Markets are on every day from early morning. The locals buy there meat, fruit and veg during the day. In the evening the street sets up some clothing and bric a brac stalls.
